An Evening of Canadian Culinary Creativity & French Elegance with Chef Arnaud Bloquel alongside Chef Rafael Covarrubias of Hexagon

Two of Ontario’s most refined and ambitious kitchens are coming together for a one-night-only tasting menu that celebrates the eclectic and outstanding Ontario culinary landscape.

On Wednesday, August 21st, Lucie and the One Michelin-Starred Hexagon in Oakville unite for La Collab #13—an exclusive multi-course dinner curated by Chef Arnaud Bloquel and guest Chef Rafael Covarrubias of Hexagon, two of Canada’s most exciting culinary talents redefining modern dining.

Hexagon has earned widespread acclaim for its inventive tasting menus, technical mastery, and hospitality-forward philosophy, culminating in its well-deserved first Michelin Star in 2024. Lucie, recently recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, is known for its refined, ingredient-driven cuisine and is led by a team of French expats who bring an authentic and contemporary approach to French gastronomy in downtown Toronto.

This collaboration is a celebration of shared values: craftsmanship, storytelling, and seasonal expression. The menu will alternate between both chefs, each offering their interpretation of French cuisine while creating a seamless and unforgettable progression of dishes.

Lucie’s resident sommelier, Quentin Mereu, will curate an elegant beverage pairing to accompany the evening, beginning with a crisp glass of Perrier-Jouët Champagne and continuing with selections designed to complement the structure and soul of each course.
