This exclusive dining event celebrates the rich culinary heritage of two of the world’s most beloved food cultures. Guests will embark on a journey of flavors, savoring meticulously crafted dishes that highlight the elegance of French technique alongside the rustic warmth of Italian tradition. With a menu curated by Chefs Angeloni and Bloquel, and paired with exceptional wines, this is an evening designed to bridge cultures, indulge senses and honor the timeless traditions of both kitchens.

  • A curated, one-night-only, multi-course menu with premium wine pairings and cocktails. Non-alc pairings are also available.

  • This is a pre-paid experience for $295 per person, inclusive of beverage pairings and gratuity. Pricing is the same for non-alc pairings.

Chef Michael Angeloni | Amano Trattoria & The Berczy Tavern

Chef Michael Angeloni is a celebrated Toronto-based chef renowned for his innovative approach to contemporary cuisine. Currently leading the kitchens at Amano Trattoria and The Berczy Tavern, Chef Angeloni brings a deep respect for tradition and a creative flair to his menus. Drawing on his Italian and Polish heritage, he creates dishes that blend time-honored techniques with bold, modern flavors, highlighting locally sourced ingredients and in-house preparations such as handmade pastas and expertly butchered meats.

With a career shaped by tenures at some of Toronto’s most iconic restaurants, including L’Unita, Splendido, The Black Hoof, and Grand Electric, Chef Angeloni has honed a versatile and dynamic culinary style. At Amano Trattoria, he reimagines Italian classics with a contemporary touch, while The Berczy Tavern reflects his ability to seamlessly fuse Canadian and Mediterranean influences in a sophisticated yet approachable way. Known for his attention to detail and passion for creating memorable dining experiences, Chef Angeloni continues to leave a lasting mark on Toronto’s culinary landscape.

Chef Arnaud Bloquel | Restaurant Lucie

Born in Guadeloupe, Chef Arnaud Bloquel has crafted a career shaped by diverse cultural influences and rigorous training in France’s most celebrated Michelin-starred kitchens. After earning accolades for his restaurant L’Orchidea in the Caribbean, Chef Bloquel now leads the kitchen at Restaurant Lucie, where his contemporary approach to French cuisine has brought Toronto’s fine dining to new heights.
