Nabilah Rawji joins Lucie as an accomplished sommelier with a decade of experience leading wine programs at some of Toronto’s most respected restaurants, including the Shangri-La Hotel, Terroni, and Oliver & Bonacini. She earned her Advanced Sommelier designation in 2019 and is currently pursuing the Master Sommelier diploma.
She brings a warm, grounded presence to the floor. Her philosophy is rooted in the structure of classic pairings but is not bound by tradition. She favours creative combinations that centre the guest and leave room for discovery.
Outside the restaurant, Nabilah consults for private collectors and serves as a lead educator with the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. A strong advocate for mentorship and community, she is also a co-founder of Vinequity, a nonprofit supporting greater equity and representation in the Canadian wine industry.
