Born and raised in Brazil, Thierry has worked and travelled all over the world. Bringing 15 years of experience in hospitality with a background in Finance and a degree in Accounting. Thierry also graduated with Honours from the Hotel Management program at George Brown College in Toronto. His love for hospitality started in Ireland, since then, he has worked for Royal Caribbean, Fairmont Hotels, Marriott Hotels and The St. Regis Hotel. His passion for wine led him to acquire two Sommelier Accreditations, from the Court of Master Sommeliers and the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. Thierry has been part of the independent VQA Tasting Panel, and competed in the Chaine de Rotisseurs Best Young Sommelier as well as the Best Ontario Sommelier. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open and operate his own business, where he was awarded the 2022 Young LGBT+ Entrepreneur of the Year, and was recognized by the Star Wine List in 2022, 2023 and 2024. Thierry is extremely passionate about food and wine and loves to share memorable moments with people around him.
